I always crack jokes about this place but the fact is it is a decent place to play. Sure the ghetto is right there but for the most part it is safe. Anyway Clifton was in pretty good shape, the greens were above average for them and it is a great place to put up a low number.

Although Clifton Park does not offer an overly challenging track, the course is in excellent condition. Greens, fairways, tees, and traps are near perfect. Rough is a bit rough but then again it should be. Meatball sub after the round was also excellent. This course is a great confidence builder.

This course is starting to dry out, the rough and a lot of the surroundings are starting to turn brown. The fairways are still green and the greens are still in fairly good shape. However the grass on the greens was way too long which made them painfully slow. Clifton is a good cheap course, I hope they can hold on to it and keep it in good condition.

Got a full 18 in starting at 5pm. At a dollar per hole, this is one of the best bargains in Baltimore. Pay no attention to the flashing blue light police cameras around the neighborhood. Staff is friendly, snack bar is great, and course was wide open.

This is by far the best bargain in Maryland. The conditions were superb and for $21 (student rate) for 18 holes this deal can not be beat. The greens were pretty much perfect, the fairways on all but two holes were pretty much perfect and the tee boxes were in great condition. If you are looking for a 3.5 hour cheap round after work Clifton Park is your best bet.

Let's not get carried away Lefty. Though Clifton Park was in the best condition I have ever seen it, it is still located off North Avenue in Baltimore City. Given price, conditions, and pace of play, I would recommend this course as long as all 18 holes can be played in the daylight. This course by far blows Forest Park out of the water. It's $10 cheaper and is in much better shape. Overall, a great easy round of golf.

Clifton Park is still the best bargain around. Some tee boxes still needed to grow in a bit. The greens were still jumpy from some left over top dressing but all in all she was in good shape. Fairways were geeen. We finished in 4 1/4 hours. If you haven't played Clifton Park in a while you owe it to yourself to go back. It has come a long way.

It is what it is but for Clifton it was not bad this weekend. It looks alot better since they did some repairs but for a quick fix in the city after work or 9 if you have a long lunch hour it is not bad.

The tee box construction I mentioned in an earlier post has been completed. Four completely level tee boxes only adds to what a value this course which was already a bargain to play.

I love this course. I play there every week. I would warn others that they are are redoing some tee boxes (long over due). There are four temporary tees on the course. Outside of that, the course is great.

Stay away for a few weeks, they just punched the greens and did not do as good a Job as the crew at Mount Pleasant. Big holes, very bumpy greens.
